Frequently Asked Questions

Who does JC Growers work with?

We work primarily with landscape designers, contractors, construction firms, maintenance teams, retailers, and other trade professionals. If you are a homeowner working with a designer or contractor, we are happy to coordinate through them.

Where are you located?

Our main yard is in Gilroy, CA, with additional growing space nearby. We are positioned to serve the Bay Area, Central Coast, and Central Valley, with the ability to source and ship material statewide on a project basis.

Do you grow everything you sell?

We grow a large portion of our material in house and supplement with a trusted network of partner growers throughout California. This combination lets us offer both core, proven lines and more specialized or hard-to-find varieties.

How do I request a quote?

Email us your plant list, plans, or palette and we will respond with pricing, availability, suggested substitutions, and freight options. For larger projects you can also send a full plan set and we will build a structured RFQ tailored to you.

Do you offer substitutions if a variety is not available?

Yes. When an exact variety or size is unavailable, we will propose close substitutes that match the intent of the design as much as possible in habit, color, and performance. We always label substitutions clearly on quotes and invoices so there are no surprises in the field.

Do you deliver, and what areas do you cover?

Yes. We deliver throughout the Bay Area, and regularly into the Central Coast and Central Valley. For larger projects we can arrange delivery to other regions of California by request. Standard delivery requires a minimum order value of $500. Freight is quoted case by case based on distance, load size, and number of trips.

Do you offer credit terms?

For established clients we can extend terms once onboarding and credit review are complete. Until then, orders are paid at will-call or prior to delivery. We will confirm terms on your onboarding paperwork so expectations are clear.

I have a new project. What is the best first step?

Send us the plant list or plans, the project location, and your target install dates. We will respond with pricing, availability, suggested subs, and freight so you can lock in scope and schedule early.
